Eastpointe is a progressive church with a desire to help people from every walk of life to live a successful, purposeful life as a Christ follower. Eastpointe is not your normal church. We desire to do "church" different. We want to be --- Creative…Energetic…Relaxing…Thought Provoking…Non-Condemning…Spiritually Motivating...and any other good words you might come up with! We like to think that the Weekend at Eastpointe is where it happens. It is "our big deal."
Casual Atmosphere
The environment is welcoming, friendly, and relaxing where people can come without having to "dress up." Just slip into your favorite pair of jeans, and come enjoy some coffee with a great uplifting talk. But if that is weird to you, go ahead and put on the fine clothes. You will not bother us! Pastor Shon has been known to "throw on" a jacket.
Live Band
The music we use to magnify the God we love and serve is not the usual, hymn style. It has a little more thump and bump, but I can promise you this -- your foot will be tapping and your head rockin' before it is over. Our prayer is that through our modern style you will see our hearts of passion and will engage with us to declare God's goodness.
Practical Teaching Series
The cool thing about the style of teaching at Eastpointe is you don't have to get it the first time. With Pastor Shon's series, it gives you many opportunities to grab something meaningful to add to your life, business, marriage, or family. Pastor Shon & Rachel just have a knack for teaching sound, Biblical truths for everyday living. We promise you when you leave the Weekend you will understanding something you can apply to your everyday life.
Safe Kid's Environment Full of Funergy
