This past year, we began the Adult Meridian Leadership ministry at our Midweek service where we desire to grow strong believers and leaders in the church. Not long ago, we add the Meridian Remix for our teenagers. NOW – we are ready for Kidspointe; the 4th-5th grade kids will be invited to be Meridian – FORWARD! Kim Howard, our Kidspointe Director, will be taking applications from 4th & 5th grade kids. Sign up now!!
Meridian Leadership Vision
Meridian was born in the heart of Pastor Shon as he recognized a need for leadership training. Meridian is just that; it is the leadership matrix of Eastpointe Community Church. Meridian is the leadership grid that trains, equips, and empowers the growing believer at Eastpointe both deep and wide…both up and down.
Meridian is so vital because it is about growing the believer at every angle…at every point…at every level --- preparing the believer for life, leadership, and ministry!!
Eph 4:12 (LB) --- …building up the church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity.
2 Cor. 13:9 (LB) --- Our greatest wish and prayer is that you will become mature Christians.
Eph 4:14 --- “we are not meant to remain as children at the mercy of every chance wind of teaching…but we are meant to speak the truth in love, and to grow up in every way into Christ, the head.”
Pastor Shon and Rachel are passionate to help people grow spiritually. Here are the 6 Foundational Beliefs Eastpointe has about Developing Leaders ---
Meridian Maxim #1 --- Strong Christians DO NOT Grow Automatically.
Meridian Maxim #2 --- People Believe Growing Spiritually is Difficult.
