Called

A C3 man knows his calling from God and this invitation by God affords him the opportunity to live his life differently.  Fulfilling the call to manhood is to live a God-honoring and God-exalting life.  A C3 man understands his purpose in life is not determined by material gain, career achievement, or worldly title.  No, a man’s destiny is discovered by knowing the God who created him and by the journey he must take as he pursues the fulfillment of that purpose.

Committed

There are three core commitments in a C3 man’s life --- Love God, love family, and love others.  A man’s commitment to fulfill the greatest commandment given by Jesus is the ultimate goal in life.  To love God with all of your heart cannot be carried out without the same love for his family.  Eph 5 tells us that Christ set the pattern of love for man --- “a love marked by giving, not getting…a love that cherishes his wife and brings the best out in the family.”  Lastly, a C3 man sees the need for relationship with others, and this where the men’s network plays a significant role in developing relationship, accountability, and courage.

Courageous

A C3 man lives in a world with faded values, mixed convictions and an erosion of character.  So he needs courage to walk in the charge that God has given to keep his eyes open and focused on Him.  A C3 sees his need for courage…to be bold and have the ability to stand up in perilous times, to hold tight the convictions of God’s Word and to be resolute in overcoming evil with good.  A C3 man knows that God counts on him to bring hope to those in despair by standing up for godly character and integrity.
