In the overall vision of Eastpointe --- changing lives, empowering people, and maximizing potential --- our ministry and care for our kids falls right at the heart of it.  At Eastpointe, the KidsPointe ministry has a desire to accomplish this with one very important value --- Funergy!!!  We want our kids to learn about God in a fun, energetic, and interactive environment!! 

The Bible instructs us as Parents --- to teach and impress the spiritual truths from God’s Word …and this starts when they are young!!  Most churches have a Nursery and Toddler department where they have a “babysitting” program while the adults go to their service…but not at Eastpointe…we have a calling from God to begin teaching our babies and toddlers basic truths that prepares them as they grow older.

So we teach 3 Main Biblical Truths like --- 

         1. God loves them…

         2. God has a purpose for them…

         3. We love our Bible…it is God’s Word… 

Parent Involvement & Investing

Our TOTS need our Parental Involvement, and at Eastpointe we do not apologize when we challenge you, as parents, to make an investment in our TOTS ministry.  We do NOT ask parents to teach a lesson or prepare a Bible study unless you feel God calling you.  But we are asking parents to teach the BIGGEST lesson our kids can learn --- GOD IS VALUABLE and they are too.  Eastpointe places a high value on our TOTS ministry because we truly see your kids as our kids. ALL parents are asked to partner with us as a church.  We need the involvement of the parents to see our vision realized.  Here’s how you can invest in your KidsPointe (KP) Tots ---

KP Tots (Birth-3 yrs)

• With this age group, our Master Teachers really do everything.  We ask our Parents who invest to help with snacks, hold babies, change diapers (if necessary) and interact with the children.  Be hands on, play, and have fun.
• Here are the investing opportunities --- Connect Group (Sun 8:40-9:40), Weekend Gathering (Sun 9:40-11:40), and the Midweek service (Wed. 6:40-8:15). 

Security --- Check-In & Out

In our day & time, we desire to keep all of our KidsPointe and KP Tots safe and secure.  All parents need to be reminded about the importance of our Security check-in. We established the rapid check-in to lessen the time needed for parents to wait.  However, we have some parents who are not following the process so we can keep things safe and secure.  Please note that every kid from age birth through 5th grade must be accompanied by an adult to the check-in station.  PLEASE, do not send your child down to check themselves. 

When you are checking in your child, please pull a security label and place it on your child.  Then, take the secondary label and keep it to use at “pick-up” time following service.  We need ALL parents to understand the importance of this system.  For liability issues, we ask you as the parents to please follow our procedures so we can expedite check-in and pick-up of your children in an orderly fashion.  We thank you for your patience and consideration in this manner.

For Parents with Tots (birth-3 yrs), it is EXTREMELY important that you check your children in with a security label.  The assigned security # is the ONLY way for us to contact you if needed.  Please don’t DUMP & RUN!  It is also important that you spend a few moments during drop off to answer our questions about your child (diapering, feeding, etc). 

Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come unto Me…for such is the kingdom of God” --- there is no doubt that children are at the heart of God and they are at Eastpointe.
